Jill is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and the Benjamin N. Cardozo – Yeshiva University – School of Law. She also studied in France for a year at the Universite´ de Nice. Jill has been practicing law for more than twelve years, and is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York.
Jill’s primary focus is on criminal, municipal and matrimonial matters, and is recognized as a tough negotiator. She recently won a reversal in an Appellate Division case in a family matter against the Division of Child Protection & Permanency (formerly DYFS).
In addition to her work at Cillick & Smith, Jill is a member of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey and
the Bergen County Bar Association (BCBA). At the BCBA, she is on the criminal, municipal and matrimonial committees.
Outside of work, Jill enjoys hiking, skiing, attending concerts, and playing with her eleven year-old dachshund, Oscar.
